Jutland
Jylland is a small peninsula sticking out of Europe that still bears many geographical features formed during the ice age, such as its desert hills in the northern area and lakes in the central region. You can enjoy farm stays and the leisurely life amongst its rural landscapes. Jylland is connected to Germany in the south and you can also fly to England by plane. Recommended sites and towns include: Århus, Ebeltoft, where an old townscape still remains, one of the earliest towns in Northern Europe, Ribe, Billund, the town of Legoland, and Aalborg, where renaissance-style chateaus stand.
