Faroe Islands

The Faroe Islands or simply Faroes are a group of islands situated in the heart of the Gulf Stream in the North Atlantic. The Faroes have close traditional ties to Iceland and Greenland, but they are a part of the Danish delegation. The Faroes are known for its greenery and untouched nature and for years tourists have been astonished by the unique scenery. Hiking and sailing are very popular adventures to do in the summer time, while enjoying the beautiful landscape. Atlantic Airways flies daily from Copenhagen to the Atlantic Airport.
