Teaches the industrial design and general design of Denmark, and bears a gallery in its basement where three types of exhibitions are held on a full-time basis. The cafeteria is also very popular.

The National Radio Symphony Orchestra

The National Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Radio Light Orchestra hold performances at the Radio House Concert Hall, located in the west region of the city. In addition, pop music concerts can be attended at the Circus Hall in the urban district. Recitals from classical music to folk music frequently take place at churches and other areas.

Moesgard Prehistory Museum

The Moesgard Prehistory Museum contains archaeological collections from Denmark and from excavations carried out in Bahrain and other places in the Persian Gulf region. It is a museum of local history and a speciality museum in the areas of archaeology and ethnography. The 2000 year old carbonized body, Grauballemand, which is preserved in a glass case, is a must-see.

Brandts Kladefabrik

The Brandts Kladefabrik is a defunct textile factory that was owned by the Brandts family. It is today a centre with galleries, theatres, restaurants, and boutiques.

Odense

Odense is the largest city in Funen, renowned for being Andersen's hometown. The third major city in the country. Its name originated from the All-Father of Norse mythology, Odin. According to legend, the morning after Odin built his castle in the central region of Funen, his wife, the goddess Frigga, awoke early and looked out the window, seeing a beautiful sea of fields and forests in the light of the morning sun. Having seen such a beautiful sight, Frigga shouted "Odin, look! (Odin, se!)," and this became the name of the city. There is plenty so see in Odense, so do not miss this city break, it take around 1 ½ from Copenhagen by train.

Kolding Castle (Koldinghus)

The Kolding Castle was constructed as a fortress as well as a castle in the 13th century when Kolding, was the southern border of Denmark. From the Kolding Castle you can overlook the city and the Kolding Fjord.

City Hall

There is a spacious plaza in front of the city hall where citizens and tourists gather. On the southwest corner is the Central Station (Hoved-banegård) and Tivoli Garden, and on its northeast opens up to the old city where the shopping street, Strøget, is located. Since this area is also the arrival and departure site for many bus tours, it is convenient for a sightseeing base point.

H.C. Andersen Odense Tour

A thorough tour of Andersen's place of birth, Odense in Fyn. You will be able to tour a museum that exhibits mementos of the great author, and stroll through the city. The Storebelt Channel Bridge that connects Sjælland and Fyn is also worth seeing.

Sbjerg

Esberg, located on the Jutland island, was once Denmark's biggest fishing harbour, and the harbour is still an economic driving force in the town. Besides the fishing industry Esbjerg is also the main city for Denmark's oil and offshore activities. The city has a great maritime museum.

Andersen's House during his Childhood Years

This was H.C.Andersen’s child home. Andersen, who was born as the son of a shoemaker, lived here between the age of 2 and 14. Although the family was poor, Andersen noted later in life that the stories his father used to tell him led to his life as a poet.
